I must brag right now and say that I am friends with some supremely talented and special people. it's inspiring as hell!
One friend is Lucia Aniello, who is a woman for whom I have a deep, almost scissor-worthy love. We met in the back hallway at UCB like 5 fucking years ago, 5 bumpin n gridin years 'fore, at a new years part I think. In the smokey hallway, both high, after discovering we were wearing quite lit'rally the exact same outfit, I was convinced... or, maybe 'convinced,' that she was ME in 4 years. Because clothes describe who you are on the inside I guess I felt.
Anyway, she directed Melissa McCarthy and Joel McHale for a promo for the Emmys, and it's funny and sweet.
Recently, she wrote, directed, and starred in Dildo Sport.
She works with her boyfriend, Paul W. Downs, and they're at Paulilu Productions. Holy shit and they also recently started the Diaries of Zac Efron, and it's so fucking funny and trippy. They're so fucked up. Lucia is such a crazy bitch in the most admirable way, I seriously am fking in love. Here's the latest ep:
